Notice of Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of Camp Fire USA Heart of the Hawkeye Council will be held on Monday, March 26 at the Council Service Center (5615 Hickman Road) at 6:30. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to campfire@campfireusaia.org.
Volunteer Recognition Luncheon
The Volunteer Recognition Luncheon is to be held on Saturday March 31, 2012 at Camp Hantesa. In preparation for this luncheon we are asking you to nominate volunteers who go above and beyond.

Annual Candy Sale
We are gearing up for candy sale which will go from January 19 to February 28. Candy can be purchased from any Camp Fire Club member, from the Camp Fire Service Center, and new this year, Candy can be purchased to be given to the troops overseas on our website by clicking on the “Donate Now” button at the top right of our website.

Need something to do for Spring Break? Check out our School Day Off program! (Grades K-8)
Join us for School Day Off's throughout the Spring. Drop your child off at one of our convenient drop locations and let them experience a day of excitement and learning at Camp Hantesa! Under the supervision of our trained staff, campers make new friends and interact with old ones through engaging programming. Each day includes transportation from one of our drop sites, a hot lunch, and a morning and afternoon snack. To see available dates or to register online, click here.
"Outrageous" Overnight (5-8)
Middle Schoolers from across the state will converge at Camp Hantesa to participate in a night of intense games, creations, and not a lot of sleep. Includes dinner, breakfast, and snacks throughout the night. Register online or mail in a registration form.
