Camp Fire Club Programs
Camp Fire Clubs are an opportunity for kids to be more involved in their community, make new friends, and interact with adults who are invested in building their self-confidence. Clubs include activities like crafts, sports, cooking, drama, exploring the outdoors, and learning more about their community and themselves. Mom/Youth Overnights
Bring your mom, aunt, grandma, or other special adult female and come to Camp Hantesa for a night of fun. Your experience includes, supper, breakfast, lodging and programs. Fun activities will be offered for all ages including hikes, games and crafts.

Family Camp Overnights
Come join other families for an overnight of fun at beautiful Camp Hantesa. We provide supper, breakfast, lodging and programs. Get the whole family in on the fun with our activities for all ages.

Afternoon At The Ranch
If you are in 2nd grade or older, spend the afternoon at Camp Hantesa's Herman's Ranch and learn all about horses. English riding lessons and horse science, including grooming, saddling and care are included in each session. Transportation is provided from the Camp Fire Service Center in Des Moines and Camp Camp Canwita in Ames, or you can choose to drop off at Herman's Ranch in Boone.
